Reading Stars Phonics Phase 5 Practice Pack contains 36 reading books to support Phase 5 of a phonics programme.
It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books correspond to Phase 5 of the Letters and Sounds programme, and match any phonics programme that follows the Letters and Sounds order to introduce new phonemes and graphemes. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word
The 36 'practice' titles offer lots of opportunity for children to consolidate their new knowledge. 12 draw on everything met up until the end of Phase 5a, then the remaining titles draw on everything met up until the end of Phase 5c.
