Clocks is a low level phonics reading book. It introduces CVCC, CCVC and some CCVCC words, and the High Frequency words there, little and one.
Clocks covers the first set of basic letters and sounds that students meet in the early stages of a phonics teaching programme. It corresponds to Phase 4 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government's synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme.
