Unlocking Letters and Sounds

A DfE validated SSP programme of phonics teaching resources, including digital lessons and resources.

Unlocking Letters and Sounds is a phonics teaching programme, supported by a programme of decodable phonics readers. The SSP has been developed by experienced teachers currently working in the classroom, and it is supported with CPD training by staff from the Unlocking Excellence and Mangotsfield Primary English Hub. Ransom's Reading Stars decodable phonics book programme works with the SSP and the books have been matched to ensure complete fidelity. Also available is an extensive range of digital and physical decoable phonic readers and other physical teaching resources.
