Book Trust
An independent charity that encourages people of all ages and cultures to discover and enjoy reading. The site includes a children’s books resource which recommends books for ages 0 – 16 and includes teacher’s resources, author interviews and other information.
National Literacy Trust
An independent charity dedicated to building a literate nation. It runs a variety of initiatives including the National Reading Campaign.
British Dyslexia Association
The ‘voice of dyslexic people’, they provide useful advice and help for parents.

Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity
They offer a range of support to children and adults with dyslexia as well as to parents, employers and education professionals. They also offer financial help to lower income families who might otherwise be unable to access their services.

Organisation to promote the education, training, advancement and development of all those with special and additional support needs.
