Description

The Reading Stars Phonics Phonics Phase 1 Handbook is designed for early years settings and reception in primary schools.

It includes over 50 separate activities covering the seven aspects of Phase 1 teaching. These activities are designed to be undertaken either in Nursery (pre-Reception) or at the very beginning of Reception, for children who are not yet ready to start Phase 2.

The Handbook works alongside the 21 Phase 1 reading books in the Ransom Reading Stars Phonics programme. It is ideal for any school teaching phonics using an SSP which does not provide resources and teaching materials for Phase 1, and provides teaching resources to accompany any phonics teaching programme, particuarly Letters and Sounds programmes.
