Reading Stars Phonics Phase 2 Practice Pack is a set of readers that form part of Ransom's phonics reading programme. It contains 16 fully decodable reading books that draw on everything covered in phase 2. Some of these titles focus on specific GPCs and CEWs by including lots of occurrences of them - they are ideal to provide targeted reading practice for children who are still not secure with certain letters and sounds.

The pack contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books correspond to Phase 2 of Letters and Sounds, but will be suitable to support most phonics programmes. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word. These books are ideal to consolidate understanding of the content learnt in Phase 2, offering lots of targeted reading practice and increasing reader confidence.
