Reading Stars Phonics Phase 5 Build Pack contains 60 reading books to support Phase 5 of a phonics programme.
It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books are closely aligned to Phase 5 of the Letters and Sounds programme. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word
The 60 'build' titles gradually introduce the new graphemes for reading (Phase 5a), alternative pronunciations of known graphemes (Phase 5b) and alternative spellings for phonemes (Phase 5c), as well as the new CEWs met in this phase.
