Jo Cotterill has been writing stories since she could hold a pencil. Her childhood ambitions were to be an actress, illustrate a book and own a unicorn. She’s achieved only one of these, and enjoyed a five-year theatrical career very much before discovering that writing books was even more fun. Now she writes at home in Oxfordshire, surrounded by craft materials, musical instruments and far too much clutter, not to mention a husband and two young daughters. Her books include the critically acclaimed Looking at the Stars as well as the uplifting Sweet Hearts series, and she writes many books for reluctant readers.
